SITE NOTES

• font choice! that one's pretty easy. i used courier new despite my opinion on it wavering heavily from month to month. i could have done like. skullboy? but pixel fonts can be tough to scale and courier new is common and readible. also, reading homestuck at 12 years old caused me to have soft spots on my brain like a banana. whatever.
• the background took me a solid 5 hours to animate, up from about 10 minutes to make its predecessor. its a new take on pretty much the same idea but with smoother animation that leans way more into the idea i accidentally stumbled upon last time of "what if the website drew breath?". it should be expected at this point that my weird computer sickness would seep into my weird child.
• the quotes!!! i hardly touched them but im still a fan. i like that every page has a unique thing. just for fun, heres the sources for them! home is from the minecraft end poem, obviously, socials is from this gitcl fic, piracy is from pokemon, quoting n harmonia, recommends is just something someone said to me on tumblr once and it hit me weird, gallery is from omori, notes is from the act transition for gitcl dlc2, and sites is from homestuck
• the flist page is based pretty exactly on its equivalent from hypnospace outlaw. it was a huge pain in the dick to make, requiring me to track down the font, open the pages in the hypnospace page editor to reference them, and then painstakingly recreating the page layout from scratch. finding somewhere to host all the files was also a huge pain. im so goddamn proud of how it turned out though. i made flist but real FROM SCRATCH. god loves me
• the sites page exists bc i saw enough cool websites other people made and i wanted to put them all in one place because theyre AWESOME!!!!
• THE THEMES!!!! this was the most ambitious addition yet and its COMPLETELY superfluous. still!! it was super fun to figure out. i got to learn how cookies work!! and like a little javascript!! the colors have no rhyme or reason to them i just likes them. im SO fucking happy how it turned out i thought it was SUPER unrealistic for my skill level but I DID IT.
